Luc\u00eda Lalor (1993, Buenos Aires) is a writer and director. Her works oscillate between fiction, documentary and experimental. She studied Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires and the film program at Universidad Di Tella, and has participated in programs such as the IDFA Academy, the Werner Herzog Film Accelerator, Dok Lab Navarra, Interaction Serbia. Luc\u00eda has directed several short films, including El G\u00fcero (2024), Notes on a Dromedary (2022), Igneous Journal (2022), and Azul (2019), which have been showcased at notable festivals such as BAFICI, Tallinn Black Nights, and at the Centre Pompidou. In the last years she has also directed several music videos, such as \u201cNo Te Comas La Peli\u201d by LOUTA. Her role in the music video industry gave her the possibility to be head of juries at festivals such as BAMVF and Ciudad Emergente. Currently, she is focused on her debut feature documentary, MAM, as well as her first fiction film, Saturn Return. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n\n

Wenceslao Arias (Buenos Aires, 1992) is an Argentine filmmaker and writer. He studied Economics and trained as an actor with various teachers in Buenos Aires. Before turning to cinema, he published a book of poetry. He developed his training in screenwriting and filmmaking independently and further shaped his authorial practice through a screenwriting workshop at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisi\u00f3n (EICTV), Cuba. Since 2022, he has dedicated himself fully to cinema, developing projects that move between fiction and documentary. His work explores territories in transformation, relationships shaped by desire and ambition, and the tensions between the intimate and the political. Through an observational approach attentive to silence and power dynamics, his films privilege ambiguity and experience over closed narratives. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
