Stop Motion Animation – Princess Mononoke and the Spirits of Nature

Mini-kinos

Inspired by the theme of CineEco 2025 and the universe of Princess Mononoke, this workshop invites children and families to explore the relationship between humans and nature spirits through stop motion animation. Participants will be introduced to basic techniques, create characters and sets, and film a short animation with smartphones. The activity highlights the balance between technology and environmental preservation, celebrating the beauty of nature through creativity and storytelling. In the end, each group will produce a short film that will become part of a collective movie – a unique souvenir and tribute to the magical connection between the natural world and its spiritual guardians.
