Agata de Pinho

PINE AGATE

Ágata de Pinho (Porto, 1989), as well as being an actress, has been dedicated to writing and creating her own work. "AZUL", the first film she wrote and directed (and stars in), premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival in 2022 and in Portugal won five awards at the first edition of the Curtas Awards (best film, best director, best screenplay, best photography and best actress), as well as other awards and honorable mentions. Her second short film, "crua+porosa", is due to be released soon, distributed by Portugal Film. Ágata is currently developing her next project, a feature film entitled "Femmes de Ménage", produced by Uma Pedra no Sapato.

ANDRÉ GUIOMAR

André Guiomar lives in Portugal and is a founding partner of Olhar de Ulisses. In 2022 he became a Berlinale Talents and in 2023 he premiered his short film "Espinho", co-directed with Mya Kaplan, at the Cannes Filmmakers' Fortnight. In 2022 he co-directed "Saturno" with Luís Costa (FIC Guadalajara). Her first feature-length documentary "Our Land, Our Altar" (2020) had its world premiere at the Sheffield Doc/Fest and won the Youth Jury Award at ZINEBI. He also directed the short documentary "Pele de Luz" (2018, Jury Prize at Doclisboa) and "Píton" (2011). In recent years, he has produced several films with international premieres such as Berlinale, Clermont-Ferrand, Cairo IFF, among others.

Filipa Rosário

FILIPA ROSÁRIO

Filipa Rosário is an Assistant Researcher at the Center for Comparative Studies at the University of Lisbon (CEComp), where she teaches Portuguese cinema and develops the project "The Times of Landscape in Portuguese Cinema (1960-Present)". He coordinates the Landscape and Cinema WG of AIM - Association of Moving Image Researchers. He co-edited Um Olhar Português: Cinema e Natureza no Século XXI (Solar System, 2024), Archives In "Lusophone" Film (Húmus, 2023), O Quarto Perdido do MoteLX. Os Filmes do Terror Português (1911- 2006) (CTLX, 2022), REFOCUS: The Films of João Pedro Rodrigues and João Rui Guerra da Mata (Edinburgh University Press, 2022) and New Approaches to Cinematic Spaces (Routledge, 2019), and is the author of The Work of the Actor in the Cinema of John Cassavetes (Sistema Solar, 2017).

Bárbara Bergamaschi Novaes

BÁRBARA BERGAMASCHI NOVAES

Bárbara Bergamaschi Novaes is an Italian-Brazilian teacher, director and researcher. She has a degree in Social Communication from UFRJ, with an exchange program at the Université de Paris 8-St.Denis - Licencé en Cinema, a Master's degree in Performing Arts from UFRJ and a PhD in Letters from PUC-Rio with a thesis on the cinema of Peter Tscherkassky. Bárbara is a film critic associated with ABRACCINE and Fipresci. She has published in various specialized media such as Aniki, La Furia Umana, Doc-Online, Significação, Revista Cinética, O Estado de São Paulo, Blog do Instituto Moreira Salles, among others. She was editor of Beira Magazine and programmer of CINECLUBA at the Hélio Oiticica Municipal Arts Center in Rio de Janeiro. In 2022, she was an advisor to the Secretary of Culture at the GDF in Brasília. She is currently Science Communication Manager and researcher at ICNOVA - FCSH-NOVA in Lisbon, where she lives.

Cátia Biscaia

CÁTIA BISCAIA

Cátia Biscaia (1983, Leiria, Portugal) has a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia from the Lisbon School of Social Communication. A professional photographer - who has won national and international awards - and a university lecturer in the field of still and moving images, she has also worked in the field of cinema since 2012, as the director of Leiria Film Fest - International Short Film Festival; and as a producer, screenwriter and image assistant on dozens of short films. As a director, she made her debut with "Chama-se Carla" (2021).

Miguel Cortes

MIGUEL CORTES COSTA

Miguel Cortes Costa has a degree in Biology. When he finished his degree (2015) he began working as a cameraman for various production companies, filming anthropology, culture and nature documentaries in Europe, Africa and South America for national and international television channels. He has choreographed two films: "Malcata: Tale of a Lonely Mountain" (2020), which won the Youth Television Award at the CineEco festival, and "Silvestres" (2024), currently in distribution. In 2022 he created the company Lengalenga Filmes with Carolina Castro Almeida, a production company dedicated to nature, history and science content.

Carolina Castro Almeida

CAROLINA ALMEIDA

Carolina Castro Almeida has a degree in Painting and has worked in the field of illustration, motion graphics and animation for various projects such as: children's books (Red Cross Collection), movie posters ("A Alma de Um Ciclista"; "Bissau Way"), institutional (European Union StaySafe Project), TV series and documentaries (RTP2; RTP Africa). Since 2015, he has been producing film festivals, soap operas, television series, short and feature-length fiction films and documentaries. In 2022, together with Miguel Cortes Costa, he created Lengalenga Filmes, an audiovisual production company focused on nature and history.

Nuno Barros

NUNO BARROS

At LIPOR for several years, she is currently part of the Communication and Brand Division, implementing internal and external communication strategies. At the same time, she continues to lead Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability projects, promoting ethics and social responsibility at LIPOR. With a degree in Biology, his professional career has been marked by a commitment to education and communication about the Environment and Sustainability. Passionate about image, he uses it to simplify the communication of environmental issues, increasing their impact. In the year that CineEco celebrates thirty editions, it is an honor to continue to be part of this project that has promoted environmental culture and values over the years.

Carlos Teofilo

CARLOS TEÓFILO

A retired teacher and lawyer, he was born in Lisbon but spent his childhood and part of his youth in Pinhel. Cinema has been part of his life from an early age. He has lived in Seia for 46 years. A founding member of CineEco - Serra da Estrela International Environmental Film Festival, he was director of the Municipal Company for Culture and Recreation and is involved in various civic and cultural events in the city.

CAMILA MARTINS

She has a degree in Psychology and is studying for a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Adult Psychotherapy at the University of Minho. She has a keen interest in cinema, including in the context of social and environmental issues, and believes in the importance of audiovisuals as a tool for raising awareness. She believes that cinema can influence the way people perceive social, cultural and ecological issues. He is also interested in understanding the emotional impacts of environmental change, as well as other issues linked to human well-being.

Francisca Martins

FRANCISCA MARTINS

Francisca Martins, 15, lives in Seia. She is in the 11th grade studying Science and Technology. She is very interested in topics such as animal conservation, fashion and different forms of expression, such as cinema. She considers cinema to be one of the most impactful forms of art, allowing for both reflection and creativity.

He is also interested in visual aesthetics, seeing it as a powerful means of expression.

Gil Marques

GIL MARQUES

Gil Marques is 22 years old and was born in France. He is currently studying Tourism and Leisure at the Escola Superior de Turismo e Hotelaria, Instituto Politécnico da Guarda.

He has been aware of environmental causes since he was a child and is currently doing his internship at the Serra da Estrela Interpretation Center (CISE).

Hugo Luís

HUGO LUÍS

Hugo Alexandre Marques Luís was born in Vide, is 17 years old and attends the 12th year of the Science and Technology course at Seia Secondary School. He has always been a sports fan and is currently playing soccer for Seia Futebol Clube. He likes video games, movies and hanging out with friends. Having grown up in a rural area, next to the river and forests, so close to nature, environmental causes have always been close to his heart, having already taken part in reforestation campaigns after the 2017 fires. He remembers attending CineEco as a child.

Maria Luisa

MARIA LUÍSA

Maria Luísa Neto Rodrigues, 16, is from Bragança, but lives in Seia, where she is in the 12th year of the Socio-Economic Sciences course at Seia Secondary School. Passionate about figure skating, a sport she's been involved in for seven years, she also loves hiking in the Serra da Estrela whenever she gets the chance.

Mariana Martins

MARIANA MARTINS

Mariana Martins is a student on the Visual Arts Scientific course at Seia Secondary School. Ever since she was little, she has valued the world of art, especially in the areas of theater and singing, where she is currently training. She attended the Seia Conservatory of Music from the age of seven, and aspires to train in theater, following her dream of musical theater. In addition to her artistic side, she also enjoys writing and composing.
