“An encounter of experimental practices of artistic research with biomaterials in search for more sustainable pathways to create visual memory”.
Through photography, sound recording, sculpture, and illustration, emerges the narrative of macroalgae as both an object of study and a creative medium, in dialogue with the imaginaries of science and research. The motto of the exhibition is inspired by the concept of Life Cycle Assessment — an environmental impact assessment methodology that seeks to describe the journey of a product or service from its origin to its end of life.
The exhibitions will open on October 11 at 2:30 p.m.
This exhibition will remain at Seia’s Casa Municipal da Cultura until November 30th.
