The CineEco extension, promoted by CATAA – Centro de Apoio Tecnológico Agroalimentar (Agri-Food Technology Support Centre), consists of a cycle of five sessions aimed at classes in the 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10th years of schooling, with the aim of raising students’ awareness of environmental issues through cinema. The activities will take place at Escola Cidade de Castelo Branco, Escola Faria de Vasconcelos, the head school of the Afonso Paiva School Cluster, Escola Básica da Mina and the Fábrica da Criatividade (Creativity Factory), fostering moments of reflection and learning around sustainability and environmental preservation.
