Lipor – Waste management in Greater Porto
LIPOR is responsible for managing urban waste in several municipalities in the Porto region, promoting a sustainable strategy for waste recovery, treatment and confinement, with a focus on the circular economy and environmental protection.
Since 2018, LIPOR has supported CineEco, the Serra da Estrela International Film Festival, raising awareness of environmental issues through film. This partnership makes it possible to show environmentally-themed films throughout the year, promoting reflection and education in communities and schools. By integrating cinema into its mission, LIPOR uses art to inspire changes in attitude and involve society in building a more sustainable world. After all, we believe that we can make a difference every day!
