Nuno Alves de Lima
2024

Despite poorly knowing it, we are leaving a path of destruction on it with our trawling nets, motivated by an insatiable hunger that both harms the sea, as well as our own heritage. The deep sea is the entire area of the ocean below 200 meters deep, where sunlight does not reach, and is the most inaccessible place on Earth for humans. Although we hardly know it, we are leaving a trail of destruction with our trawls, motivated by an insatiable hunger that is damaging both the sea and our own heritage.
