2033. Barcelona. Heatwave in December. Nana lives with her mother and is unemployed. Her luck finally seems to change when a powerful multinational takes an interest in her. However, she will soon discover that getting the job means sacrificing more than she ever imagined.

Miguel Dorado (Madrid, Spain, 07/05/1999) was raised in Barcelona, where he graduated from ESCAC. With a particular interest in world-building and science fiction, his work approaches these genres from an intimate, human scale that questions the present reality.
His first short film, “Beyond 1.5” (original title “1,5 y más”), explores the moral concerns of a younger generation facing an increasingly unrecognizable world.
