Once upon a time… there was the yew tree of Offranville, which had the power to calm anyone who hugged it. And so, over the generations, the village became a gathering place for anxious people from all over the world… Among them are Jérémy and Tristan, two brothers who work for the municipality’s parks and gardens department. One day, they make a startling discovery: the tree has fallen ill from absorbing so much human stress. The hugs must stop.

Born on 18 July 1993 (32) in Seine-Maritime, Brice discovered cinema through the audiovisual club at his high school in the Pays de Caux region. At Ciné-Sup in Nantes, he met the friends he continues to work with today.
After completing a Master’s degree in Screenwriting, he was hired by Les Films du Losange… in accounting. For five years. The company didn’t sink, but Brice decided to abandon ship and return to directing, making two short films: Sous-Régime (2023) and Toucher du bois (2025). He also obtained a CAP in Culinary Arts — but still has no accounting qualification.
