Paradança is a village tucked away in the hills of Trás-os-Montes, Portugal. On July 4th, 1987, a family gathered in the old house. In 2025, the house stands silent, overtaken by time. In forty years, the village has lost sixty percent of its people. This film is a portrait of a family and a way of resistance — and an elegy shaped by resistance as lineage: memory handed down, stories held close, a house still echoing with life.
