Entre Terra e Corpo is an original artistic creation rooted in the Serra da Estrela, reflecting on the relationship between territory, nature and community through music, voice, dance, physical theatre and visual imagery.
Structured in five tableaux — Landscape, Electricity, Transhumance, Woollen Mills and Continuity — the work unfolds across the many layers of the Serra da Estrela’s identity. It begins with the elemental force of the landscape, moves through the pulse of energy and infrastructure, follows the ancient movement of animals and people, enters the world of wool and the knowledge shaped by generations of hands, and finally looks towards new ways of inhabiting, transforming and reimagining the land.
Through original music, voices resonating throughout the space, dance and physical theatre, Entre Terra e Corpo creates an immersive stage experience that becomes a living encounter between tradition and transformation, between the natural world and human presence, between what is remembered and what is yet to come.
A work exploring the Serra da Estrela as a living, ever-changing landscape capable of reinventing itself.
